Job summary

The Nature Conservancy seeks a Burn Crew Member to participate in wildland fire operations, including ignition, control, mop-up, and monitoring on the Oakmulgee Ranger District. You will work under a Burn Crew Manager, pursue ongoing training, and strengthen ties with the local fire community and partners.

Requirements include a high school diploma, the ability to obtain RXCM or FFT2 credentials, a valid driver’s license, completion of safety trainings, and fitness standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain RXCM/FFT2 qualifications including core fire training.
• Maintain physical fitness standards per local guidelines.
• Possess or obtain required licenses/certifications (First Aid, CPR).
