Job summary

ThreePeaks Ascent in Utah is seeking a Clinical Intern to gain hands-on experience in a nurturing, wilderness-based therapy program serving adolescents and families. You’ll work closely with licensed clinicians and participate in group sessions within a dynamic team.

You will assist in delivering therapeutic services, document progress, and engage with clients through active listening while learning core therapeutic practices.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks.
• Eligible to work in the USA.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain on hire).

Responsibilities

• Support experienced clinicians in delivering therapeutic services.
• Assist in facilitating therapeutic groups for adolescents and families.
• Engage with clients through active listening and understanding to help build rapport.
• Participate in training sessions and contribute to team discussions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.
• Collaborate with a passionate team of therapists and mental health professionals.
• Join in on family support activities and networking events.
