Job summary

Adamah is seeking a Mentor for Middle School Age Youth starting August 2026. This part-time role involves guiding youth through nature-based games, Jewish teachings, and personal development activities. The role requires a commitment of 3+ years of experience in mentoring, wilderness skills, and knowledge of Jewish traditions.

Candidates will attend training sessions, engage with families, and be active in environmental settings while maintaining youth safety. Compensation ranges from $25 to $30 per hour, with additional perks such as paid sick leave and discounts on programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in youth mentoring, nature connection, wilderness skills, and/or Jewish learning.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and be outside in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Attend staff training weekends and regular planning meetings.
• Mentor youth and maintain their safety and health.
• Communicate with families and coordinate meetings.
