JLive seeks staff for youth wilderness programs in the Upper Peninsula or remote Ontario locations. You will care for campers, lead camping trips, and create engaging, nature-based activities that build community.

Role requires living remotely, sleeping in tents, and being on call around the clock. Certification in lifeguarding and wilderness first aid is provided to all staff, with remote, immersive living environments throughout the season.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the care and well-being of campers, as a friend, teacher and role model
• Plan and lead all camping trips
• Develop and implement creative programming
• Assist with meal preparation and cleanup
• Obtain lifeguard and wilderness first-aid certification (provided for all staff)
• Live in a remote wilderness location
• Sleep in a tent on camping trips
