Indiana Health Centers, Inc. in Logansport, IN is seeking a part-time WIC Clerk to join our Cass County WIC team.

You will screen applicants, orient clients, issue checks, and support outreach and reporting activities in a community-focused setting. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, customer service, and Spanish language skills where possible, with a Monday–Friday schedule aligned to clinic hours.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of clerical experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Screen income, identification, and residency documents; complete WIC certification and WIC check-generating forms.
• Orient clients to the WIC program.
• Provide information about foods available and authorized vendors and explain the purpose of the WIC identification folder.
• Issuing WIC checks and securing required electronic signatures.
• Sending form letters to clients covering eligibility, sanction, and appointment reminders.
• Participating in occasional outreach work and assisting in monthly report preparation.
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly reports and other standard clerical tasks.
