Qualifications

• Background in fluid flow, metering of liquids and silo rotation preferred.
• Strong computer skills and written/verbal communication required.
• Mechanical background helps success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Assists and manages enhancements of technical and financial performance of the department.
• Oversee whey plant operation including control of all incoming/outgoing products and equipment maintenance.
• Enforce safety rules, GMPs, and quality programs to ensure safe, quality food.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational/mechanical problems to maintain smooth production.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections on a daily/weekly/monthly schedule.
• Monitor processes and adjust for continuous flow; operate lift truck as needed.
• Maintain open communication with operators, drivers, and other departments.
