Job summary

Saputo USA is hiring at our California facility to operate and oversee the drying and packaging lines. You will monitor dryer performance, conduct quality tests, and ensure products meet specifications. The role supports production through accurate documentation and proper equipment operation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, mechanical or analytical aptitude, and familiarity with dryers and packaging equipment. This on-site role emphasizes safety and teamwork at Saputo.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical/analytical abilities and understanding of dryers, evaporators and packaging equipment;

Responsibilities

• Generally responsible for the accurate and efficient drying of product.
• Runs quality tests on powder products, run's PH test if required determines powder moistures, and sediments, etc.
• Responsible for maintaining product quality, sanitation of equipment, and housekeeping standards.
• Follows work instructions and cleaning procedures related to drying liquid product.
• Starts up, runs and shuts down the Dryers. Coordinates proper atomization pressures and installs appropriate nozzle orifice disc and swirl chamber to maintain optimum powder moistures in the main chamber and finished product.
• Safely Runs machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions.
• Makes minor adjustments or repairs to machine.
• Conduct all quality control measurements and properly fill out production paperwork.
• Inspects filled containers to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.

Pay Range: $31.60 - $37.23
