Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is hiring for a production associate in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. The role offers an afternoon shift 3p-11p, a night shift 11p-7a, or a floater to cover all three shifts, with starting wage of $25.32 per hour and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).

You will monitor processing equipment, log production data, perform quality checks, assist in other production areas, and follow DFA GMPs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in a production area preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; basic math skills.
• Mechanical abilities and familiarity with production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor dryer, finisher evaporator, and WPC performance and adjust operating parameters.
• Notify control room lead or management of equipment irregularities.
• Monitor and verify changes for production and CIP modes.
• Perform required computer tasks and report ingredients to inventory system.
• Maintain production records and perform hourly quality checks.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks and cleaning/sanitation to uphold quality standards.
• Follow DFA GMPs and safety policies; perform minor maintenance as needed.
