Parkview Health is seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified General Psychiatrists to join our Ambulatory Psychiatry Team at the Parkview Behavioral Health Institute in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This outpatient role supports children, adolescents, and adults with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Join a growing program with a focus on delivering high-quality mental health care in an Ambulatory setting, with a schedule Monday–Friday and a favorable call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment across child, adolescent, and adult populations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary ambulatory psychiatry team to coordinate care.

About The Team

Our collaborative team includes Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrists, working together to provide comprehensive care.

As northeast Indiana’s only provider of inpatient mental health services for children and adolescents, we play a vital role in supporting young patients experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.

Parkview Behavioral Health

One of 10 service lines for the Parkview Health system PBH provides tertiary psychiatric care treatment for an 11-county area. Hospital outpatient services include intensive outpatient treatment and partial hospitalization at several facilities. The psychiatric hospital is licensed for 120 beds, consisting of 16 beds for children , 18 beds for adolescents , 37 beds for adults , 18 intensive care adult beds, and 20 geriatric beds. Starting Sept 2026, we will have a total of 98 beds across PBHI consisting of 16 low acuity adult beds at Park Center and 82 beds at Parkview Randallia / PBH which consist of 24 adolescent and 58 adult beds.
