Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA seeks a Design Release Engineer to support the design, development, validation, and release of automotive wheel systems. You will collaborate with the Product Design Studio, manufacturing plants, and Tier-1 suppliers to meet styling, durability, quality, and program timing goals.

The role covers aluminum and steel wheels, fasteners, center caps, and trim components, with emphasis on packaging, fit, and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive wheel design release processes.
• Ability to coordinate with design studios and suppliers.
• Understanding of validation and testing for wheel components.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate styling realization with Product Design Studio to translate concepts into manufacturable wheel designs.
• Support engineering release and lifecycle management of wheels and wheel components in Teamcenter PLM.
• Conduct packaging, vehicle integration, clearance checks, and fit-and-finish reviews.
• Track Tier-1 supplier milestones across design, tooling, testing, quality, and delivery.
• Support wheel testing for fatigue, impact, and durability.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions for issues.
• Assist in prototype builds, pilot runs, and production launches.
• Ensure designs meet internal criteria and international safety standards.
