American Commercial Barge Line (ACBL) seeks a Wheelman – Conventional Steering to support safe transit and navigation on Inland River System. You will operate steering equipment, monitor traffic and river conditions, and communicate between the wheelhouse, deck, locks and shore personnel, under direction of the Captain/Pilot.
This hands-on role offers stable full-time employment with multiple rotations and training opportunities; prior towing vessel experience is preferred and TWIC is required

Schedule: Multiple rotations available, including 28/28, 28/14, 21/21, or 14/14. Wheelmen work 6 hours on / 6 hours off or 12‑hour watches depending on vessel needs.
