Lynx EMS seeks dependable Day Shift Wheelchair Van Drivers in Morgantown, WV to support scheduled medical transports. You will ensure safe patient transport, timely arrivals, and compassionate service, while maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual, and able to work daytime schedules in a structured environment. Prior medical transportation experience is a plus, but not required, with full-time benefits available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a wheelchair‑accessible van during scheduled daytime routes.
• Transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, dialysis centers, rehabilitation facilities, and other healthcare locations.
• Assist patients in and out of the vehicle using proper lifting, securement, and safety procedures.
• Ensure all wheelchairs and mobility devices are properly secured before transport.
• Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate service to patients and families.
• Maintain punctuality and efficient time management throughout assigned routes.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized vehicle interior.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and healthcare providers regarding arrival times, delays, or special transport needs.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, HIPAA guidelines, company policies, and traffic laws.

We are seeking dependable, service‑oriented professionals to join our team as Day Shift Wheelchair Van Drivers. Daytime operations represent one of our highest‑demand service periods, supporting scheduled medical appointments, dialysis transports, hospital discharges, rehabilitation visits, and interfacility transfers.

As a Day Shift Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients arrive safely, on time, and with dignity. This position requires strong time management, attention to safety, and a compassionate, patient‑first mindset. You will serve as a trusted point of contact for patients, families, healthcare staff, and dispatch throughout the day.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in structured daytime schedules and want to make a meaningful impact in their community.

Key Responsibilities
