Chesapeake, Inc. is seeking a transportation specialist to operate wheelchair-accessible vans and deliver services within the human services field. The role requires a valid driver's license and a driving history compliant with City Driving Standards.

Depending on assignment, a CDL Class C or CDL Class B with Passenger Certification may be needed. Flexibility to work outside regular hours during emergencies is expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record compliant with City Driving Standards.
• May require CDL Class C license to operate a multi-passenger vehicle with 16+ passengers; CDL Class B with Passenger Certification may be required.
• Willingness to work hours beyond the normal schedule for department needs and city emergencies.
• Experience driving wheelchair-accessible vans and providing transportation within human services is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications, TOVA training, and Modivcare certification are advantageous.
