Job summary

Benzeen Auto Parts in Marysville, CA is seeking a Wheel & Tire Tech to safely disassemble rims from tires and perform related duties in a team environment. You will mark rims, transport wheels, and maintain tire equipment with guidance from leaders.

The position offers minimum wage base plus production bonuses, plus benefits including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k), PTO and holidays, employee discounts, and regular team events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year auto dismantling experience or equivalent training/experience.
• Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance.
• Excellent decision making skills and ability to self-direct.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble rims from tires safely and properly.
• Mark and separate rims and tires by type (aluminum and steel) and condition.
• Transport wheels between dismantling area and tire station.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tire machines.
• Complete tasks using Pro App, Teams, and related software.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Assist with special projects under guidance from the leader.
• Perform related duties within scope of practice.

Benzeen Auto Parts has been serving its customers for over 16 years with all make and model vehicle parts, and we are looking for a Wheel & Tire Tech to join our stellar team! As a Wheel & Tire Tech you will responsible for properly disassembling rims from tires in a safe, efficient, and proper manner.

This position is minimum wage plus production bonus. The more tires you dissemble, the higher your wage!

Essential Job Functions

• Properly disassemble rims from tires
• Mark and separate rims and tires by type (aluminum and steel),(good and bad)
• Transport wheels from Dismantler building to Wheel & Tire station
• Perform preventive maintenance on tire machine
• Complete tasks through various applications (Pro App, Teams, etc)
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Work special projects with guidance from leader
• Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice

Preferred Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and one (1) year auto dismantling experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance
• Excellent decision making skills and ability to self-direct
• Good interpersonal communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to perform a variety of task in all kinds of weather/seasons
• Physical stamina and good upper body strength to lift heavy objects
• Ability to lift/load/unload up to 75 lbs.
• Will be required to wear proper PPE (steel toed boots, rain gear)
