Job summary

Ford of Helena is seeking a skilled wheel alignment technician to inspect, diagnose, and correct alignment issues on passenger vehicles, trucks, and SUVs. You will use computerized alignment equipment and adjust camber, caster, and toe according to manufacturer specs.

Responsibilities include mounting and balancing tires, inspecting suspension components, and communicating repair needs to service advisors. ASE certification is preferred but not required; a valid driver’s license is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in tire service, wheel alignment, automotive repair, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of suspension, steering, and braking systems.
• Ability to operate alignment machines, tire changers, and wheel balancers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform four-wheel and front-end alignments on passenger vehicles, light trucks, and SUVs.
• Inspect suspension, steering, and chassis components for wear or damage.
• Diagnose alignment-related issues (uneven tire wear, steering pull, vibration, handling).
• Adjust camber, caster, and toe to manufacturer specs.
• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings to customers.
