Typical responsibilities include:
Associate attorneys usually have less than about five to eight years of experience. Early in their careers, they assist with cases and learn under the supervision of senior attorneys, gradually taking on more responsibility, obtaining their own clients, and potentially leading trial cases.
Over time, with experience and performance, they may have the opportunity to become partners; however, partnership is not guaranteed.
Eligibility: Recent law school graduates or attorneys with up to eight years of experience, strong legal research skills, written and oral communication proficiency, and a willingness to work in a collaborative law firm environment.
