Job summary

AltaGas seeks an Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Business Analyst to bridge business and technology, turning vulnerability, identity, and infrastructure data into prioritized, actionable plans for leadership and engineering teams. You will enable risk-aware decisions through analytics and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements include 5+ years in IT infrastructure/cybersecurity business analysis, experience with vulnerability tooling, IAM concepts, and hands-on ServiceNow, plus proficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business analysis across IT infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Experience with vulnerability management tooling and risk-based prioritization.
• Knowledge of IAM concepts (SSO, MFA, RBAC, access certification).
• Hands-on ServiceNow experience (ITSM, SecOps, CMDB).
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls.
• Strong data analytics skills (Power BI, SQL, Python).

Responsibilities

• Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
• Analyze vulnerability scan results and security telemetry to build risk-ranked remediation backlogs and track them to closure.
• Support identity and access management initiatives — lifecycle provisioning, role-based access, access certifications, and least-privilege design.

• Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning, including DR testing and cyber recovery readiness.
• Build dashboards and reporting that give stakeholders visibility into risk and remediation progress.
• Support enterprise infrastructure modernization programs and cross-functional project delivery.

AltaGas is looking for an Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Business Analyst to help strengthen our security posture and modernize our technology environment. You will sit at the intersection of business and technology — turning vulnerability, identity, and infrastructure data into clear, risk-based priorities that leadership and engineering teams can act on.

You will:

• Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.

You have:

• 5+ years in business analysis across IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, including vulnerability management and/or IAM program support.
• Experience with vulnerability management tooling (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or Microsoft Defender) and risk-based prioritization.
• Working knowledge of IAM concepts — SSO, MFA, RBAC, privileged access, and access certification; SailPoint experience a plus.
• Hands-on ServiceNow experience (ITSM, SecOps, CMDB).
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
• Strong data analytics skills (Power BI, SQL, Python) and an understanding of how AI/ML applies to security and infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,400. - $ 135,425 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
