We recommend you read this statement before applying for any position.**Camping Commitment Statement** As a follower of Jesus Christ and a minister of His Gospel, demonstrate a basic understanding of Young Life’s ministry strategy and participate in providing excellent camping experiences for individuals to encounter Jesus Christ and know the truth of God’s love for them.**Mission & Authority** Through both continued training and direct experience, lead staff and prepare an environment where guests, staff, and volunteers are well cared for by preparing a distraction free environment for kids to encounter Jesus Christ. All staff members are expected to represent Young Life positively and professionally within the community and be able to work with and minister to the volunteer high school and college-age young people who attend our camp.**Job Specific Working Conditions:** Young Life’s Washington Family Ranch is a large facility with a wide range of commercial and residential systems and equipment. The candidate filling this job would be part of a 14-person talented and dedicated Facilities Maintenance team providing services across the entire facility. Duties of this job could include, but are not limited to, preventative maintenance and one-time tasks/projects involving the following:* Hydronic boiler and chiller systems* Residential heat pump systems* Refrigeration systems* Commercial food service and ware-washing equipment* Commercial laundry equipment* Propane fired boilers, heaters, and appliances* Air handling equipment* Pumps* Various control-related devices including sensors, valves, dampers, etc.* Programmable controls and BMS (Building Management System)Washington Family Ranch is a remote property (located one hour from the closest grocery store) with a large dedicated staff that results in approximately 120 people living year round at camp. This creates a unique and spiritually rewarding environment of Christian work and fellowship. There are two camps located here: a high school focused camp (Canyon) and a middle school camp (Creekside). Affordable housing is available on property.In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is outlined below. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the United States.*The anticipated hourly rate for this position can range from**19.00 - 28.55**depending on relevant education, experience, and location.*
