Job summary

Vortex Companies is seeking a Wetout Technician I to stack liners on pallets and assist Inspectors in ensuring top quality for customers. You will read spec sheets, help with machine setups, and maintain a clean, safe work environment on a full-time schedule.

Weekly hours are typically Monday to Friday, with possible weekend/holiday shifts. This role requires physical endurance, PPE usage, and a commitment to quality and safety on the production line.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours
• Able to lift and move at least 50 lbs repeatedly
• Wears PPE as required (hard hats, vests, boots, eye protection)

Responsibilities

• Read construction and customer requirement sheets to meet specs
• Assist with machine setups and wrapping/strapping liners
• Stack liners on pallets per customer requirements
• Assist Inspectors in quality checks on the line
• Report quality issues to Supervisor promptly
• Check drive rollers before and after material runs
• Maintain clean work area and perform housekeeping
• Assist with pallet sizing and supply monitoring
• Perform other duties as assigned
