Missouri State University in Springfield seeks a student to assist in Biology with lab and field tasks. Responsibilities include water quality analysis, processing water and plant samples, and supporting field surveys and wetland maintenance from a canoe or small boat.
Start date is ASAP. This is an ongoing position tied to a work-study award, with hours 10–12 per week, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Student Status Work Study Required- You are required to be a Federal Work Study Recipient to hold this position.

10-12 hours per week
Assist with lab and fieldwork. Lab work includes water quality analysis, water and plant sample processing, and other lab tasks. Fieldwork will include conducting plant surveys, floating wetland maintenance, and water sample collection from a canoe or a small boat. Start date: as soon as possible. This is an ongoing position depending on work study award. Hours might vary when we are doing fieldwork.
Previous lab experience or completed at least one college science lab class.
