The Technician may assist manufacturing with process elements or process and quality engineers with the testing and gathering of data on various elements of the printed circuit board manufacturing process. ***Duties and Responsibilities:**** Responsible for assuring manufacturing process is running per procedure or conducting engineering tests* Monitors manufacturing process or performs failure analysis for engineering or quality* Takes measurements for process control or gathers measurement data for engineering* Re-writes documentation to update new practices or writes and prepares reports for engineering or quality* Responds to data on process control charts or maintains material movement spreadsheets and reports results* Runs tests through production process line or assists process engineer with evaluating data* Responsible for all processes within manufacturing and/or support the efforts of engineers* Perform process control activities such as measuring product or performing tests* Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals ***Essential Knowledge and Skills:**** Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job* Able to work independently and as part of a team* Strong desire and willingness to learn* Familiar with PC applications ***Education and Experience:**** Associate’s degree (or in final stages of completion) in Engineering, Chemistry, or Manufacturing; or equivalent experience required.* Strong math skills, especially statistics* Technicians will undergo chemical handling training prior to the start of performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training. **The position is located at 6457 Fly Rd.
