Job summary

Mancan is seeking a Wet Grinder Set Up and Operator for a Metal Stamping Company in Brunswick, OH. 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6am–4pm, with overtime on Saturdays when available. Starting wage is $18+ per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating wet grinding machines, reading blueprints, and using micrometers/calipers to ensure tight tolerances. Must handle 60+ lbs, stand/bend for the full shift and pass a background/drug test.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must be comfortable lifting steel plates.
• Must be comfortable lifting 60+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate wet grinding machines (Chevalier model).
• Interpret blueprints and use measurement tools to ensure precision.
• Maintain tolerances and surface grind quality on plates/blocks.
