Job summary

Rinker Materials in Doswell, VA seeks a Concrete Mold Carpenter to support wet cast production at our Doswell plant. You will perform mold preparation, pour concrete into molds, and ensure high-quality output while keeping tools and spaces clean and safe.

Outdoor work is required; familiarity with hand and power tools is expected. Prior manufacturing and forklift experience are a plus, with physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional climbing.

Qualifications

• Read work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiar with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors/open air environments.
• Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
• Must lift/move objects up to 50 pounds; forklift/crane used above 50 pounds; climb stairs and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Lift, move materials, and prepare molds for wet casting processes.
• Mix, pour, and finish concrete into molds for wet cast production.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a clean, organized way.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and departments for smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment or production issues as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of molds, tools, and equipment.
