Job summary

Saturn Petcare Inc. in Terre Haute, IN is seeking a Production Supervisor for Wet Area Operations to lead production teams, oversee training, coaching, and development to meet operational performance.

You will implement training programs, drive continuous improvement (SPQDC, Flow, SMED, EPEI, 5S), monitor KPIs, and coordinate across functional areas to deliver quality products to customers. Candidates should have leadership experience, a degree in business/technical field or 4+ years related

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or technical field OR 4+ years related experience and/or training.
• Must have prior leadership experience leading, developing, training, and coaching employees on performance
• Experience with continuous improvement programs such as SPQDC, Flow, SMED, EPEI, 5S and problem solving
• Experience with high-automated production processes (preferred for pet food).
• Experience in statistical data interpretation and analysis (e.g., SPC).

Responsibilities

• Follows and supports all Company policies and procedures
• Support area leader in managing assigned department. In addition, act as a liaison between functional areas and ability to elevate as needed.
• Monitor work schedules and adjust work flows to achieve customer needs
• Takes all actions and necessary steps to deliver quality product to our customers.
• Responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting production training programs within production
• Supports process improvements in production to increase efficiency
• Participate and support continuous improvement programs such as SPQDC, Flow, SMED, EPEI, 5S and problem solving within production
• Ability to capture performance data to identify and achieve necessary KPI’s
