Westlake Automotive in Denver, NC is seeking a General Tire and Lube Technician to join our fast-paced shop. You will perform tire rotations, installations, oil changes, and basic inspections while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous tire and lube technician experience is preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient tire installation and oil change procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsabilités

• Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs with precision and efficiency.
• Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify potential issues or safety concerns.
• Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires for even tread wear and vehicle stability.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed with parts used and time spent.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and provide excellent service.
• Adhere to shop safety protocols in a busy environment.

• 8AM-6:00PM (M-F)

Compensation:

$700-$1200 paid weekly (negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs with precision and efficiency


• Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance


• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify any potential issues or safety concerns


• Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires to promote even tread wear and vehicle stability


• Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and time spent on each task


• Assist customers with tire recommendations, answering inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service


• Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines while working in a shop environment

Requirements:

• must be over the age of 18


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Previous experience as a tire and lube technician or similar role preferred


• Proficient knowledge of tire installation, repair techniques, and oil change procedures


• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills


• Ability to operate shop equipment and tools safely


• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills


• Strong customer service and communication skills


• Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
