Job summary

TAG MedStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in Westchester County, NY, across hospital-based surgical, operating room, and labor/delivery settings. Multiple full-time opportunities available with day or night shifts, in-office, with responsibilities including patient assessment, care planning, clinical interventions, and interdisciplinary coordination.

The ideal candidate holds a NY RN license, a BSN from an accredited program, and current BLS certification,

Qualifications

• Education: BSN from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Licensure: Active New York State RN license is required.
• Certification: Current BLS certification required; additional certifications based on unit.
• Experience: Previous hospital or acute care nursing experience is required.
• Industry knowledge: Knowledge of patient assessment, acute care nursing, infection control, patient safety, and nursing standards.
• Technical skills: Experience with EHRs, clinical documentation, monitoring equipment.
• Skills & attributes: Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, organization, adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in line with patient needs and care plans.
• Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, and implement interventions.
• Develop and support individualized care plans with the care team.
• Maintain accurate patient records, assessments, and interventions.
• Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory standards in care delivery.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
