Job summary

Kleinfelder in Raleigh, NC is seeking interns in mining/civil engineering to work on projects under experienced engineers. You will gain exposure to Mining, Industrial & Commercial Land Development, and other engineering fields, with opportunities for mentorship and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Carlson, and Excel preferred.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and talented Interns for mining/civil engineering. As an upcoming graduate you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and develop your skills in mining/civil engineering in a dynamic work environment. Under the direction of experienced engineers, you will gain exposure to Mining, Industrial & Commercial Land Development, and other engineering projects.This position is available in our Raleigh, NC office.

What We’re Looking For:

• Recent graduates or individuals with up to 2 years of experience in any of the listed engineering or geosciences fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mining engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, geology, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a passion for engineering solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to learn, grow, and develop professionally.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Carlson, Microsoft Excel, and other engineering/project software is preferred.
