Job summary

JPMorgan Chase seeks a Vice President, Regional Manager of State & Local Government Relations to lead strategy for CA, AK, and HI, with a Sacramento-base in the West Region. You will monitor policy trends, engage with agencies and officials, and collaborate with business lines to advance public policy objectives.

You will coordinate advocacy campaigns, manage regulatory risks, and work with Communications to raise awareness of our economic footprint in key markets, reporting to the West Region

Qualifications

• Experience lobbying, public affairs advocacy campaigns, or political campaigns.
• Background in financial services and business issues.
• Strong project management and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand the governmental and political environment within assigned region (CA, AK, HI).
• Monitor and influence regulatory, legislative, and political developments; communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with elected officials, regulatory agencies, and community leaders.
• Engage external state and local trade associations, contract lobbyists, and national organizations as assigned.
• Collaborate with internal partners to develop advocacy campaigns, including events and messaging that resonate with policymakers and highlight JPMorgan Chase's impact.
• Coordinate with Corporate Responsibility and Line of Business colleagues to identify opportunities for philanthropic initiatives and market expansion.
• Align government relations activities with company priorities through cross-functional collaboration.
• Support senior executives on government relations priorities.
