Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care across assessment, planning, and evaluation in an acute care environment in Florida.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied professionals to deliver high-quality care, administer medications, monitor patients, and educate families while adhering to safety and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida or a compact state.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role is preferred.
• Strong focus on medication safety and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in accordance with the nursing process.
• Documents assessments and reports changes to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR and code teams as appropriate.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards.
