Job summary

SilverRide is seeking independent contractors for West LA paratransit work. You bid on and accept pre-scheduled rides in a flexible schedule, with 6am–8:30pm hours and a door-through-door service model.

How It Works:

As an independent contractor, you'll have the flexibility to bid on and accept rides that fit your schedule.

Schedule: Mon-Sat, 6am-8:30pm

Independent Contractor Requirements:

• Age 21+ with 3+ years driving experience
• CA license (or 3+ years out-of-state experience)
• 4-door SEDAN ONLY - you provide your own vehicle (crossovers, SUVs and minivans are not eligible for this contract)
• Clean driving record (max 2 violations in 3 years)
• Fluent English and compassionate attitude

Credentials

Each contract has different credentialing requirements. As an independent contractor, you maintain your own credentials. Requirements may include:

• Drug testing
• DOT Physical (medical certificate)
• Defensive Driving course completion
• Fingerprints
