Job summary

Enable Dental is seeking a Clinical Director for the West Coast to lead clinical operations across PACE programs, SNFs, ALFs, and IDD sites. This role reports to the Chief Clinical Officer, with California license required at hire and regional licensure expansion supported by the company.

The position combines clinic-based time (one day weekly) with regional leadership responsibilities, requiring travel 25–35% and strong collaboration with program partners to ensure high standards and policy

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited program required.
• Active California dental license required at hire; additional state licensure within the region to be obtained after start.
• Five or more years of clinical practice, including general dentistry with removable prosthetics and complex cases.
• Direct supervisory experience with dentists and hygienists.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision of West Coast dentists and hygienists.
• Onboard and conduct 30/60/90 day check-ins for new providers.
• Coach geriatric and special needs patients within the care model.
• Manage error remediation and provider retraining.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding for regional providers.
• Oversee chart audits and quality review processes.
• Assess referral needs and coordinate with internal specialists.
• Contribute to contract interpretation of benefit designs at the chart level.
• Represent Enable Dental in quarterly joint operating committees.
• Support compliance with licensure, credentialing, and CE across the region.
