Job summary

Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, 0.9 FTE night shift. The role requires working two 12-hour shifts per weekend and one 12-hour shift during the week, with paid call time as per base rate.

New hires must complete required competencies within 90 days, including BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and other area-specific certifications. Qualifications include a valid North Carolina RN license, graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, and current BLS;

• NRP is required in Nursery, L&D, Postpartum, and Pediatrics.
• EFM is required for L&D, Postpartum, and Pediatrics.
• STABLE is required for Nursery.
• PALS is required in Pediatrics, ICU, PACU, ASU and Emergency Department.
• NIH is required in IMCU, ICU, and Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• One year of clinical experience for charge responsibilities.

Job Location: Onslow Memorial Hospital - Jacksonville, NC 28546, Position Type: Full Time 0.9, Job Shift: Night, WEO +1 employees will be required to work two 12 hour shifts per weekend plus one 12 hour shift during the week. The weekend begins Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. and extends through Monday morning at 7:00 a.m. WEO +1 employees must maintain competencies for areas chosen for work. The initial competencies must be completed within the 90 days to be eligible for continued employment to include BCLS, ACLS, PALS and any other certifications required in the specific clinical areas. (Paid call time will be at the prescribed base rate, which is defined as the standard, non-WEO base hourly rate for RNs, including appropriate experience pay).
