Job summary

Petroplan is seeking a Petroleum Engineering Specialist - Well Lifecycle Management (WellView SME) in Minot, ND. The role focuses on leveraging WellView for data management, reporting, and analytics to support daily well operations and engineering projects.

Ideal candidates have extensive WellView experience, strong analytical skills, and prior wells operations exposure. In-office work with optional Friday remote or off-site options, 9/80 schedule, and a focus on data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Extensive WellView experience required.
• Experience with WellView 10 and/or WellView Allez strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting well operations, drilling, completions, production or upstream activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as WellView SME and maintain data quality standards.
• Create, maintain, and enhance WellView reports, queries, libraries, and reporting solutions.
• Support migration and adoption of WellView Allez.
• Perform job creation, data entry, and data maintenance in WellView.
• Monitor data integrity and coding accuracy through quality assessments.
• Develop and deliver WellView training materials and sessions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize reporting and data governance.
