Job summary

Chevron is seeking a Wells Engineering Intern to work on real projects in the office with drilling or completions engineers and other groups that add value to the company. Projects include optimization studies, look-back reviews, and well design analyses, with exposure to safety and Chevron's technology culture.

You will gain relationships across teams, build career opportunities, and learn how software scales in a global enterprise while exploring potential future roles within Chevron.

Qualifications

• Students pursuing a Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong academic performance in core programs, communication, leadership, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Position may require driving on a routine basis.
• Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.

Responsibilities

• Work on actual projects in the office with drilling or completions engineers and other groups that contribute value to Chevron.
• Projects include optimization studies, project look-back reviews, tool case studies, well design reviews, safety and environmental performance studies, and contractor analyses.
