LiveWell Health is looking for an exceptional Wellness Specialist to help older adults become stronger, move with greater confidence, and maintain their independence.
This is a traditional personal-training position.
Our specialists work one-on-one with aging adults in their homes and residential communities, using evidence-based exercise to improve strength, balance, mobility, endurance, and overall physical function. Many of our members are navigating health conditions, recovering from a setback, or beginning to notice changes that make everyday life more difficult.
Our job is to meet them where they are - and help them move forward.

LiveWell Health is an exercise and wellness company designed specifically for the aging population. Since 2018, we have helped older adults continue doing the things that matter most to them, whether that means traveling, playing golf or tennis, getting up from the floor, walking without assistance, or simply remaining independent at home.
We combine objective assessment, individualized programming, professional collaboration, and genuine human connection. Our team works alongside families, physicians, physical therapists, senior living communities, and private clubs throughout Southwest Florida.
As a Wellness Specialist, you will:
- Deliver individualized, 45-minute exercise sessions in members' homes and residential communities
- Develop safe, progressive programs focused on strength, balance, mobility, power, and endurance
- Adapt sessions around medical history, physical limitations, pain, fatigue, and day-to-day changes
- Build meaningful, long-term relationships with members and their families
- Document sessions and communicate important observations with the LiveWell team
- Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals when appropriate
- Help members understand how their exercise program supports their personal goals and independence
- Represent LiveWell with professionalism, consistency, empathy, and sound judgment
We are looking for someone who brings more than technical knowledge. The right person understands that working with older adults requires patience, attentiveness, emotional intelligence, and the ability to earn trust.
You may be a strong fit if you:
- Have a degree in exercise science, kinesiology, exercise physiology, or a closely related field
- Have experience working with older adults, clinical populations, or individuals with complex health histories
- Understand exercise programming beyond simply leading someone through a workout
- Can confidently modify exercises while preserving the purpose of the program
- Communicate clearly with members, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
- Are dependable, organized, coachable, and comfortable working independently
- Notice small changes in movement, behavior, energy, or function
- Care deeply about the quality of the experience you provide
- Bring a skill, perspective, or area of expertise that can make our entire team better
Relevant certifications are valued, but character, judgment, and the ability to connect with people are equally important.

- Exercise Science / Physiology or relevant degree
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally between member locations
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain it
- Ability to safely demonstrate and assist with exercise
- Availability that aligns with member demand
- Successful completion of LiveWell's interview and onboarding process
