Job summary

Job description

Position Summary

• Serves adult or children with wellness programming. Position varies by division (Works, Rewards, Center) with main variable being the audience served adult or child, ECU Health employees / Industry employees / General Community, Children's Weight management/Children's programming, etc.
• This position creates and implements programs and curriculum for the target audience.

Minimum Requirements

• College Degree (4 yrs.) in Exercise Physiology, Health Education, Nutrition or related preferred.
• Related Master's degree can substitute for one year work-related experience.
• 1 year experience required in Community, Corporate, Hospital or Private based Wellness, Fitness, and Health Promotion settings.
• CPR certification required within 6 months of employment.
• NC Driver's license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Pay Range

• Wellness Program Specialist (PRN) hourly range > $23.52 - $34.28
• Final compensation is determined at the offer stage.
