Job summary

Senior Living Residences invites applications for a Wellness Nurse at Anchor Bay East Providence, an assisted living and memory care community in East Providence, RI. The Wellness Nurse supports the Resident Care Director in developing a comprehensive care program for residents and mentors CNAs, coordinating with families and physicians.

Certification: LPN or RN with RI license.
Experience: 1+ years working with elderly and/or Alzheimer's populations.
Physical requirements: Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance).
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and physicians.
Punctuality & reliability – dependability in daily living activities.

Responsibilities

Assist with managing, directing and developing a comprehensive care program for all residents.
Train and manage CNAs and act as liaison with families, agencies, physicians and care providers.
