Maplewood Senior Living is seeking an LPN/RN Wellness Nurse for Mill Hill Residence. This part-time role (3pm-11pm) offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Resident Services Nurse supports the Resident Services Director in implementing and coordinating resident care services within a luxury senior living community. The ideal candidate is a licensed practical nurse with CPR/First Aid, has 2 years of clinical experience, and a passion for senior care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the appropriate state(s).
• Basic first aid and CPR certification.
• Two years full time or full time equivalent clinical experience.
• Experience in assisted living or long term care setting preferred.
• Experience and/or special interest working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Resident Services Department associates, including CNAs (Resident Services Assistants).
• Assist in supervising the medication program and assist residents with self-administration of medication.
• Maintain positive relations with residents, families and physicians.
• Report significant incidents and/or changes in residents' needs to the Executive Director/Resident Services Director.
• Support completion of resident assessments and service plans.
• Assist with clinical assessments/recertifications per ALSA requirements.
• Support Director in hiring and managing performance within the department.
• Assist in training and orientation of new associates.
• Attend and participate in scheduled in-service programs and meetings.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to Resident Services staff.
• Support residents and families to ensure high level of satisfaction.
• Assist with supervision of RSA staff during provision of care.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
