Job summary

Brandywine at Longwood in Kennett Square, PA, is seeking a Utility worker to join our kitchen team. This non-exempt, hourly role supports meals service and maintains a clean, safe kitchen environment.

The role involves dishwashing, food prep support, and adherence to sanitation standards. Schedule includes 11am–7:30pm on select weekdays and alternating weekends, offering a flexible part-time arrangement with benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment in accordance with SOPs.
• Operate dishwashing machinery properly and safely.
• Clean, prep and wash pots, pans, utensils, and store properly.
• Ensure chemical dispensers and cleaning supplies are adequate.
• Use all safety equipment to meet OSHA standards.
• Empty and clean garbage from kitchen to dumpster.
• Assist in dining room by removing soiled dishes during service.
