Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Wellness Instructor to deliver personal attention and professional instruction that significantly contributes to each member’s health and fitness goals in our luxury hotel setting.

Responsibilities include ensuring a safe, energetic class format; providing high levels of personalized service before, during and after class; maintaining studio cleanliness and equipment; and upholding safety in the fitness center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in fitness instruction.
• Certified fitness instructor.
• Preferred hotel experience.
• CPR/First Aid certified preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.

The base rate for the Wellness Instructor is $10.23. This position also pays additional compensation per class. The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and may include other factors, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
