Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Health Engagement Nurse to promote engagement in clinical and disease management programs, educating members individually and in groups. You will analyze data to improve decisions and connect members with resources, focusing on wellness program participation.

The role involves 50-75% local travel to rural locations in Valdosta, GA and southern Georgia. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active and unrestricted license in the state of residence.
• 3+ years clinical experience in hospital, acute care, home health / hospice, direct care or care management.
• Proven solid presentation skills with proven experience delivering group presentations and 1:1 coaching.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel including the ability to navigate a Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Educate members on health education and condition management in collaboration with Optum Health.
• Referral of employees to clinical programs including designated physicians.
• Create, manage and implement employer-specific programs based on employer needs.
• Analyze health analytic data and develop targeted data driven strategies for programs.
