Brookdale Senior Living in Asheville, NC, seeks a Wellness Director-RN to lead the clinical team and manage the overall operation of the nursing services in a memory care community.

You will collaborate with residents, families, and physicians to coordinate personalized care, mentor staff, and enhance resident and family satisfaction. A structured orientation and ongoing professional development support are provided by Brookdale.

Qualifications

• Active state nursing license (RN/LPN/LVN) in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience with clinical leadership.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical services of the community to meet residents’ healthcare needs.

About the Director of Nursing Position

As Director of Nursing at Brookdale, you will utilize your leadership qualities to inspire, lead and manage the overall operation of the clinical team to provide the highest quality of care and services for our residents. Qualifications & Skills

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Full-time associates in role are eligible for an annual bonus incentive and sales referral bonuses. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

The application window is anticipated to close within 30 days of the date of the posting. Manages the day-to-day clinical services of the community to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensures quality care as residents' healthcare needs change. Supervises and provides leadership, as well as coaching, to licensed nurses and other direct care staff within the community. The HWD level for each community is determined based on the total complexity of the role. Complexity criteria include, but are not limited to, factors such as size, type of product lines, medication management regulations, 90-day assessment requirements, multiple licensure requirements, state regulatory complexity, and skilled services requiring an RN.
