Job summary

The Courtyards Senior Living in Odessa, TX is seeking a Director of Health and Wellness to lead all health services for residents, oversee nursing and direct care staff, and ensure compliant, high‑quality care in assisted living and memory care settings. You will perform resident assessments, develop care plans, coordinate with physicians and families, and be on call for emergencies.

Active LVN/LPN license in Texas and at least two years of leadership experience are required; this role offers

Qualifications

• Active LVN/LPN license in Texas.
• At least 2 years of experience in health or wellness leadership.
• Experience leading a care team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all health and wellness services for residents.
• Ensure compliance with Assisted Living license regulations.
• Supervise nursing and direct care staff, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
• Perform resident assessments, care planning, and medication oversight.
• Coordinate with physicians, families, and case workers regarding care plans and changes.
• Be available for emergencies and staff support via phone/on-call.
• Maintain and update resident records, policies, procedures, and training manuals.

What You'll Do:
