Job summary

Aegis Therapies is hiring a Wellness Coordinator in Athens, GA to join a supportive team and deliver wellness programs for residents. This full-time role schedules daily activities, leads group exercise, markets the program, and supports ongoing staff communications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist or similar area preferred.
• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule monthly calendar: 5–7 exercises/activities per day, including group exercise/activities.
• Lead as Instructor for program sessions.
• Market the wellness program to residents and staff.
• Attend weekly/monthly staff meetings for events or information.
• Track participation and progress of residents.
