The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is hiring a part-time Wellness Center Assistant at Lionville Community YMCA in Exton, PA. You’ll conduct orientations, assist members, and help keep the gym safe, clean, and welcoming.

Evening and weekend availability is required. The position offers healthcare benefits, paid time off, retirement contributions, education support, and a variety of staff perks through our YMCA network.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Evening and weekend availability as specified.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of basic exercise principles.
• New hire certifications/trainings within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wellness center orientations per guidelines.
• Assist members in the fitness center in a safe, courteous manner.
• Ensure staff are identifiable and the center is clean.
• Follow fitness center absolutes and report issues.
• Assist with maintenance logs and equipment checks.
• Encourage members to wipe equipment after use.
• Participate in events and open houses.
• Maintain surveillance during shifts.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices.
• Adhere to YGBW policies and SOPs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
