Job summary

The Goochland Family YMCA is hiring part-time Wellness Coaches to assist members during nights and weekends. You will greet members, orient equipment, and support wellness activities on the floor in a friendly, safety-conscious environment.

Qualified candidates are at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED, and current CPR/AED/First Aid certifications. If not certified, the YMCA offers certification opportunities. Prior wellness background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR, AED and First Aid certifications required; recertification provided if needed.
• Experience or background in wellness is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with members on the wellness floor.

Job description

The Goochland Family YMCA is seeking part time friendly individuals with a passion for wellness to work with members as Wellness Coaches. Pay range for this position is $13-$15 per hour. This part time position needs help only on nights and weekends.

DUTIES of a Wellness Coach

Wellness coaches will build relationships with members, provide equipment orientations, clean equipment, and assist members on the wellness floor.

QUALIFICATIONS of a Wellness Coach

Wellness coaches must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, and have current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications. If not currently certified, we will certify you! We are eagerly looking for candidates who have a background in wellness.
