Job summary

River Market Community Co-op in Stillwater, MN is seeking a Part Time Wellness Clerk to engage customers and share health and wellness knowledge while helping customers locate products. This union shop requires weekend and evening availability with 16–24 hours per week.

Reports to the Center Store Manager and helps maintain shelves and store presentation. As a Wellness Clerk you will provide exemplary customer service, keep shelves stocked, and ensure product quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Prior experience serving customers.
• Basic arithmetic skills are required.
• Knowledge of store product areas: supplements, haircare, skincare, essential oils, body care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain attractive, fully stocked, rotated sections and promotional areas.
• Stock according to procedures and SOPs.
• Execute daily task lists as delegated by supervisor.
• Provide product information to customers per training.
• Receive and process deliveries as directed by supervisor.
• Increase product knowledge and stay informed on industry news.
• Communicate professionally with customers and staff.
• Assist customers with placing and picking up special orders.

River Market Community Co-op is hiring a Part Time Wellness Clerk!

Experience-based pay ranging from: $18.27 - $19.58 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 hours per week

Must have availability to work weekends and evenings. Candidates without availability to work weekends and evenings will not be considered.

• Maintain attractive, fully stocked, rotated, and faced sections, including promotional areas that change regularly
• Stock in accordance with procedures and Standard Operating Procedures
• Execute daily task lists as delegated by supervisor
• Provide product information to customers according to training
• Receive and process deliveries as communicated by supervisor
• Take initiative to increase your own product knowledge and keep up to date on industry news
• Communicate in a positive, professional, and respectful manner. Use appropriate language, behavior, appearance, and overall conduct with or in the presence of customers, vendors, and staffers
• Assist customers with placing and picking up of special orders

Requirements

• Able to perform basic arithmetic including counting, addition, and subtraction
• Prior experience serving customers
• Working knowledge of product areas within department: supplements, haircare, skincare, essential oils, body care
