Job summary

Vi Living in Aventura, FL, is seeking a Lifestyle Coordinator to join the Lifestyle department. You will help develop and execute programs and events promoting wellness for residents, while coordinating volunteers, contractors and community resources.

Lead the department when the Lifestyle Director is unavailable. The role requires 1–3 years in recreation or related senior activities, strong MS Office skills, and a High School Diploma or GED (Associate Degree preferred).

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in recreation or appropriate experience in assessing, designing and implementing social, educational, recreational and leisure activities for an active senior population is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills along with proficiency in MS Office.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Associate Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programs, activities and events for residents promoting whole person wellness.
• Recruit and coordinate outside volunteers, independent contractors and community resources.
• Provide leadership for the Lifestyle department in the absence of the Lifestyle Director.
