McCoy Global is seeking an Assembly Technician in Broussard, LA to assemble and test final-stage components from schematics and instructions. You will work with Wellbore equipment, perform testing, modifications, and assist in process improvements.

The role requires a mechanical background, ability to read procedures, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Teamwork and safety diligence are essential in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos and short correspondence.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and adhere to safety policies.
• Experience in mechanics, hydraulics and electrical controls is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assembles Wellbore equipment and related sub-assemblies and components using fixtures.
• Connects parts and cables to Wellbore equipment per blueprints and procedures.
• Fits, trims, aligns and adjusts parts and components.
• Grinds and tests installed parts for leakage and function.
• Reworks or replaces faulty components as needed.
• Installs valve packages, gears, motors or other assemblies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
