Job summary

Onesubsea is seeking a Technical Data Acquisition Engineer located in Houma, Louisiana. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and operating data acquisition systems in field environments to monitor and record operational parameters.

This role requires strong expertise in managing pressure and temperature sensors as well as real-time data streaming technologies. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field and specific certifications in surface testing pressure equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data acquisition engineer role.
• Proven ability to manage wireless pressure and temperature measurement systems.
• Previous certification in surface testing pressure equipment.

• Manage and operate pressure, temperature sensors, flowmeters for biphasic and multiphasic fluids.
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot data acquisition systems.

Job Overview

Technical Data Acquisition Engineer located in Houma, Louisiana. Responsible for installing, configuring, and operating data acquisition systems in field environments to monitor and record operational parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and operate pressure, temperature sensors, flowmeters for biphasic and multiphasic fluids using wireless communication systems.
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot data acquisition systems and real‑time data streaming platforms.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data collected during operations.
• Support field operations by providing data monitoring and analysis.
• Maintain and calibrate data acquisition equipment as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage wireless pressure and temperature measurement systems.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and real‑time streaming technologies.
• Familiarity with surface well testing operations.
• Previous certification in surface testing pressure equipment.
• Completion of formal data acquisition training.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data acquisition engineer role.
• Experience with Helios System and wellbore data acquisition software.
• Skilled in surface wireless acquisition, Emerson pressure/temperature sensors, Coriolis and multiphase meters.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

This position is offshore. Successful candidates will be required to work at the base between offshore jobs as required and will need to relocate to Houma.
